Our Cost Information

Consultation

For our consultation, we will charge an initial fee of £150.We will subsequently provide or give you an estimated cost for your case, including a fixed fee.

Our Hourly Rates

Fixed Fees

We can offer a fixed fee for certain typeof cases/applications after we have considered your circumstances.

The fixed fee, if agreed will be a fixed amount for the work we will do for you regardless of how long it takes to complete. Though this will be subject to the condition that there are no unforeseen complications or significant changes to your instructions.

There are various immigration and visa applications and the costs differ and these are based on whether you are making an in-country or out of country application. We will also take into account your immigration history, supporting evidence provided, the emergency of your case and the strength of your case. All fees quoted are estimated and are based on the merit of your case.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

VAT Value added tax will be payable where applicable at 20% rate and this will be added to our fees. The application of VAT to our fee will depend on your residential status in the UK.If you are legally resident in the United Kingdom, you will be required to VAT in addition to our fees. The VAT you pay is for HMRC - His Majesty's Revenue and Custom.

If you do not have legal residence in the UK, otherwise known as leave to remain or you entered illegally without permission or as an asylum seeker, you would not be required to pay VAT.

Disbursements

Please note that our fees whether fixed or agreed does not include disbursements. Disbursements include fees paid to external bodies such as the Home Office, Tribunal or Court, Barristers as well as expert reports like the DNA and Surveyors reports etc. These fees will depend on the complexity of your case. We will try to negotiate the fees for disbursements, where possible. We will also provide the details of any expert to you before they are instructed.

Detailed Information regarding disbursements, if applicable, would be made available to you at the time of your instruction. This would also be set out in the client care letter.

Where disbursements are subject to VAT, we would inform you at the time of your instruction and also provide same, as stated above in the client care letter.

In addition, the Home Office works in partnership with Sopra Steria as an authorised partner to provide the UK Visas and Citizenship Application Services. They also work with other commercial partners such as VFS Global and TLScontact, who operate the Visa Application Centres abroad.

Legal Aid

We have legal aid franchise in the areas of Housing & Debts Services as well as Family Law and Practice and are authorised by the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) to provide free legal services to people who may not be able to afford the cost of their legal matters.

We will not charge for the services we provide to you under the legal aid franchise. The LAA will pay for those services, but to qualify for assistance under this scheme, you will be means tested. This means that your income will have to be assessed, and we are under strict rule to carry out the assessment of your income.

All privately paying clients are referred to our fee table to have a better view of the estimate of our applicable fees.
